Prolonged CDA operative time above the reference 81-100 minutes is independently associated with increased length of stay, but not other significant health care utilization parameters, including discharge disposition, readmission, or reoperation. There was no association between prolonged operative time and 30-day medical/surgical complications, including wound complications, infections, pulmonary embolism, or urinary tract infection.
