Detection and coverage estimation of purple nutsedge in turf with image classification neural networks.

These results demonstrated that the developed NNs could effectively detect weeds and estimate their coverage in bermudagrass turf, allowing the calculation of herbicide requirements for variable-rate herbicide applications.
