Altered cannabinoid receptor expression in pancreatic islets in experimental model of uraemia.

The obtained results indicate the involvement of cannabinoid receptors in the pathomechanism of carbohydrate metabolism disorders, associated with abnormal secretion of hormones by the α and β cells in uraemia.
