Se-doped Ni(OH) 2 showed greatly improved catalytic performance for urea oxidation due to the enhanced urea molecules' adsorption ability on the Se-Ni(OH) 2 electrode and weakened poisoning effect by effectively reducing the energy barrier for CO 2 adsorption.
