The title compound, C 25 H 25 N 3 O 4 , crystallizes with two mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit. In both mol-ecules, the central ethane hydrazide moiety is almost planar. In the crystal, asymmetric, bifurcated N-H⋯(N,O) hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into [100] chains. The packing is consolidated by weak C-H⋯O inter-actions.
