The present study adopts a hybrid technique, namely Hsapf-VMAT, for hippocampal sparing WBRT. Hsapf-VMAT can achieve promising dose reduction to the hippocampus, both eyes and lenses. Therefore, Hsapf-VMAT can be considered an improved version of sapf-VMAT.
