Alkylation of N H-sulfoximines under Mitsunobu-type conditions.

Previously described approaches for the alkylation of N H-sulfoximines typically rely either on transition metal catalysis, or the use of traditional alkylation reagents and strong bases. Herein, we report a straightforward alkylation of diverse N H-sulfoximines under simple Mitsunobu-type conditions, despite the unusually high p K a of the N H center.
