In this study, we successfully developed a NIR-triggered nanomedicine that increased drug accumulation in tumor through photo-controlled therapy and homotypic targeting of the tumor cell membrane. GNR@TM has been demonstrated effective suppression of tumor growth, excellent biocompatibility, and significant potential for clinical applications.
