Maximal calf conductance is associated with 6-minute walk distance in participants with and without peripheral artery disease.

Participants with PAD and claudication had impaired maximal calf conductance and a lower 6-minute walk distance than those without PAD, and maximal calf conductance was positively and independently associated with 6-minute walk distance within each group before and after adjusting for ABI, and for demographic, anthropometric, and comorbid variables.
