The percentage of infants exclusively breastfed rate decreased as the maternal age increased. We found that multipara mothers can breastfeed even in their 40s, but primipara mothers may encounter difficulty breastfeeding at ages above 35. Our results suggest the need for considering not only their age but number of children, i.e., breastfeeding experience, for providing effective support to mothers in breastfeeding.
