Active iMFC may present with findings resembling chrysanthemum lesions. The distinctive lesion morphology on ophthalmoscopic examination, the high number of lesions, and the high prevalence of exclusive mid- and far-peripheral involvement may represent a distinctive phenotype of iMFC.
