Antenatal prediction of fetal macrosomia in pregnancies affected by maternal pre-gestational diabetes.

Abdominal circumference at 36 weeks was the single best predictor of fetal macrosomia. A combined model of HbA1c, AC and AAW was the best antenatal predictor of macrosomia, with intriguing clinical possibilities in the possible prevention of maternal and fetal complications of macrosomia.
