Prevalence of food insecurity in community-dwelling people living with severe mental illness.

Food insecurity is highly prevalent among community-dwelling people with severe mental illness receiving clozapine and/or long-acting injectable antipsychotic medication. Food security screening should be considered as routine care for this population group.
