Despite the implementation of the 2017 DoD pricing policy, some tobacco products remain cheaper at tobacco retailers on-post compared to off-post retailers. Our results highlight the need for greater routine surveillance to increase implementation of the policy-particularly for cigarettes-to reduce high rates of tobacco use among service members.
