Screening for Krabbe disease: The first 2 years' experience.

The knowledge obtained from our investigations provided and will provide notable practical benefit to families in which the disease is manifested and to researchers who deal with this rare pathology. Finally, the results of our study will be useful to know the real incidence of Krabbe disease in a large territory where it is particularly present and to start a Krabbe's register, which at present does not exist.
