Contrast-enhanced US, with better sensitivity and negative predictive value versus CECT, was an effective method for exclusion of residual tumors after transarterial chemoembolization. Contrast-enhanced CT, with higher specificity than CEUS, is a valid approach for identifying residual tumors.
