The results of this study indicated that oxidative stress and lipid peroxidation levels were higher in obsessive-compulsive disorder patients. Based on this finding, NOX-2 and NOX-4 levels can be used as indicators of endogenous oxidative stress in obsessive-compulsive disorder patients.
