A variety of neurodegenerative disorders can be identified in CBS patients, but clinical and regional imaging differences aid in predicting underlying neuropathology. PPV analysis of the current CBD diagnostic criteria revealed suboptimal performance. Biomarkers adequately sensitive and specific for CBD are needed.
