Mortality rate in children with cerebral palsy (CP) in rural Bangladesh is 19.5 per 1000 person-years. The majority of children with CP died from potentially preventable and treatable conditions. Motor severity, associated impairments, and malnutrition make children with CP vulnerable to premature death in rural Bangladesh.
