Current prenatal models for prediction of postnatal outcome in PA/CS-IVS are heterogeneous. Multiparametric models targeting UV and non-BV circulation perform well for identifying BV patients but they have low sensitivities, underestimating fetuses that will ultimately end with a UV circulation. Until better discrimination can be achieved, fetal interventions should probably be purposefully limited to only those in which a non-BV postnatal circulation is certain.
