Exploratory Study on Central Sensitization and Bioelectrical Activity of the Selected Masticatory Muscles in Subjects with Myopia.

Subjects with myopia have an increased score in the central sensitization inventory. The increase in the central sensitization inventory score is connected with the changes within the electromyographic activity of the masticatory and neck muscles. The effect of central sensitization on masticatory muscle activity in myopic subjects requires further study.
