Viewpoint: Glucocorticoids in the Treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis: Points to (Re)consider.

Glucocorticoids (prednisone) are essential in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune diseases. They are widely used, but treatment guidelines advise against. This viewpoint article explains why, and suggests a way forward.
