Exposure to Non-Native Tropical Milkweed Promotes Reproductive Development in Migratory Monarch Butterflies.

Our study provides evidence that exposure to tropical milkweed can increase monarch reproductive activity, which could promote continued residency at year-round breeding sites and decrease monarch migratory propensity.
