Attitudes towards people with dementia: a cross-sectional study comparing dental hygiene students with registered dental hygienists.

Registered dental hygienists had more positive and more knowledge compared to dental hygiene students. Attitudes towards dementia, but not knowledge of dementia, were significantly positively correlated with ageism.
