Post-kidney transplantation vesicoureteral reflux has a negative impact on long-term graft survival, and that treatment prevents graft deterioration. From the perspective of maintaining long-term graft function in kidney recipients, vesicoureteral reflux may be one of the most important complications to be addressed.
