Obstructive Sleep Apnea and Longitudinal Changes in Interstitial Lung Imaging and Lung Function: The MESA Study.

A greater burden of hypoxia related to obstructive events during sleep was associated with increased lung densities over time and a more rapid decline in lung volumes regardless of body habitus. Our findings suggest OSA may be a contributing factor in the early stages of ILD.
