Semi-quantitative [123I]FP-CIT SPECT evaluation, but not visual assessment, discriminates iNPH patients from their mimics. [123I]FP-CIT SPECT represents an interesting neuroimaging biomarker to improve the selection of patients with iNPH for invasive shunt surgery.
