Intracerebral de novo arterio-venous malformations as a side effect of bevacizumab.

Based on this experience, it can be hypothesized that bevacizumab may induce de novo arterio-venous malformations in the brain as a result of arterial and venous thrombotic effects. Additional studies should be done to clarify the causal relationship between bevacizumab and arterio-venous malformations in primary brain tumors.
