The genetic basis of disease heterogeneity in multiple sclerosis (MS) remains elusive. We leveraged the Collaborative Cross to expand the phenotypic repertoire of the experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) model of MS and identify loci controlling EAE severity, trajectory, and presentation.
