Surgical treatment of cicatricial tracheal stenosis is associated with low incidence of postoperative complications and mortality. However, further improvement in long-term results is associated with advanced rehabilitation programs for concomitant diseases. Treatment of cicatricial tracheal stenosis should be carried out at specialized hospitals.
