Lack of adequate perfusion can cause poor outcomes in limb salvage. This case demonstrated that lower extremity trauma can be complicated by chronic vascular disease. Reperfusion and adequate wound healing can be accomplished by using bypass grafting after more traditional reperfusion techniques fail.
