Postoperative CT confirmed a stable anatomical reduction of condyle. Four-month follow-up showed that the patient's facial shape, occlusion, and mouth opening were all good. Follow-up CT showed good fracture healing. It is feasible to use absorbable plates and long absorbable screws to fix mandibular condylar sagittal fracture accompanied by lateral condylar crest defect.
