Association between the triglyceride-glucose index and carotid artery plaque burden in patients with primary hypertension: A cross-sectional study.

The TyG index is positively associated with the presence of multiple plaques in patients with primary hypertension, whereas no association is found between the TyG index and the presence of a single carotid plaque.
