• Significant differences were observed in terms of PLT, PCT, MPV/PLT, and PDW/PLT between overweight, obese, and normal-weight children. • Overweight and obese children with insulin resistance had higher PLT and lower MPV/PLT and PDW/PLT ratios than the children without insülin resistance.
