A lateral BHMT with a posteriorly displaced fragment produced an atypical magnetic resonance imaging presentation in a bicruciate MLKI. Meniscal repair was aborted because of extravasation and concerns of compartment syndrome, but spontaneous healing occurred after fragment reduction.
