A Special Collection on 2D Materials and Their Applications.

The field of two-dimensional (2D) materials and their applications has exploded since the isolation of graphene in 2004. In their editorial to this special collection, guest editors Dan Zhao and Xinliang Feng provide a brief overview of the field and highlight the state-of-the-art contributions featured in this special collection.
