In symptomatic patients with permanent large vessel occlusion, the signal intensity ratio of pseudo-continuous ASL with short PLD sensitively reflects the hemodynamics before and after revascularization; therefore, this technique may be an alternative method in situations where PET or SPECT cannot be performed.
