Recurrent strokes remain a major challenge in primary care. Overall, the health workers demonstrated average knowledge, favorable attitudes, and positive practices. The study highlights the importance of training accredited social health activists (ASHAs) and other CHWs in stroke to improve secondary prevention strategies.
