Combining established methods of vascular visualization with newer methods enables an implant's impact on vascular intersection to be assessed in silico. This methodology suggests that when used for femoral neck fracture management, the new device intersects fewer blood vessels than the comparator. Comparative clinical studies are needed to investigate whether these findings correlate with the incidence of avascular necrosis and clinical outcomes.
