Adherence to endoscopic surveillance guidelines for patients with inflammatory bowel disease: An Australian cohort study.

Adherence to endoscopic surveillance guidelines with regard to timing of procedures and the utilization of chromoendoscopy is poor. Further clinician education, promotion of the surveillance guidelines and incorporation of chromoendoscopy training as part of the national colonoscopy training program may improve adherence to guidelines.
