Tuberculosis screening coverage and isoniazid preventive therapy among people living with HIV at Gambella Hospital, southwest Ethiopia: a retrospective study design.

The present study findings demonstrated that tuberculosis screening for PLHIV at Gambella Hospital was improved in comparison with reports from many African countries and other parts of Ethiopia. Despite this improvement, the implementation rate of IPT was below national and World Health Organization recommendations. Overall, tuberculosis diagnostic approaches and available preventive measures should be strengthened in the study area.
