First report of validation of the prognostic nutritional index in patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage undergoing endovascular occlusion or surgical clipping.

This study indicates that PNI was correlated with the outcome in patients with SAH. Preoperative impaired nutritional status based on PNI can be accepted as a predictor of affecting the outcome in aneurysmal SAH patients undergoing endovascular occlusion or surgical clipping.
