Lower incisor position in skeletal Class III malocclusion patients: a comparative study of orthodontic camouflage and orthognathic surgery.

In orthodontic camouflage, the lower anterior teeth were significantly moved lingually with a better root-bone relationship. However, this relationship deteriorated in some surgical patients. Therefore, it is important to conduct cephalometric or cone-beam computed tomography examinations during preoperative orthodontics to identify and prevent possible periodontal risks.
