Hypomagnesemia, particularly serum Mg levels below 1.5 mg/dL, may be associated with frailty, basic ADLs, gait, and balance tests. In geriatric practice, patients with hypomagnesemia should be evaluated in terms of the risk of the mentioned disorders.
