Rare GE deletion variants can induce naturally occurring anti-Ge2 in Caucasians. Because of an enhanced risk of injury as soldier autologous RBC of the donor were cryopreserved. The donor and her sibling can give blood for each other because of identical ABO, Rh, and K antigen blood types.
