Ophthalmologists should be aware that uveitis may be the first sign of systemic sarcoidosis. In all subgroups of OS, uveitis tends to be bilateral and the most common type is panuveitis. Therefore, the eye without obvious clinical findings should be carefully evaluated clinically and angiographically.
