Transvaginal mesh surgery eliminates overactive bladder symptoms in about two-thirds of pelvic organ prolapse patients. The preoperative International Prostate Symptom Score storage subscore was the most useful predictive factor for the persistence of preoperative overactive bladder symptoms after surgery.
