Ancillary testing does not improve diagnostic precision and can be reduced. Clindamycin does not improve patient outcomes, suggesting beta-lactams should be considered first line. Susceptibility patterns in our cohort demonstrate inducible clindamycin resistance as opposed to constitutive.
