Experiences of compassion among family carers of older adults: Qualitative content analysis of survey free-text comments.

Findings provide qualitative understanding about family carers' realities of compassion (to self, to others and from others) within their role and highlight the applicability and warranted focus of compassion-based approaches within family caregiving research and practice.
