With the aid of an exonuclease-powered DNA walker, the amount of glucose oxidase immobilized on the bioanode can be facilely tailored by varying the concentration of microRNA-141, so a glucose/O 2 biofuel cell is employed as a self-powered sensor for sensitive and selective detection of microRNA-141.
